Obama's Speech

It's no big secret that Obama's speeches are good, and this was no exception. Starting even from before he began, everything he did made it feel like he was talking to you. Using the senior class president from that high school was a great way to draw kids in due to the fact that every high school has a person like that. It gave him even more of a connection to the audience. Now, about his actual speech. I was expecting more from him than what he gave. It was a good speech, but it was similar to other speeches I've heard. It was very much the "stay in school" speech. What made it exceptional was the fact that it was comming from the president, and I'm sure that made all the difference for (hopefully) many kids in bad situations. One part of his speech that I expecially liked was the part where he talked about how some of the most sucessful people on this earth are the ones that have failed the most. It's interesting and it's true.
