"Anger." I think the word is thrown around a little too much. I put a lot of thought into this subject, and I think I could go for both sides of the argument of anger.
On the one side, I do agree that anger has often thrown people out of order when it comes to thinking clearly. When people become angry, they will blurt out whatever comes to mind in order to achieve something, whether it be winning an argument, or just to hurt someone. Call it human nature, I suppose.
However, I do think that there are times where anger will benefit a person. Using myself as an example, there are times when I just debate with my mother. Unfortunately, her mind lives in the old world, and so many of her opinions add fuel to my fire. Needless to say, I often get angry when I debate with her. Because of my anger, I feel my courage building, and I say what I need to say to win the argument. I don't throw around hurtful words, or make any opinion personal, but my anger fuels me and allows me to support my opinion with more strength.
I suppose it all depends on how far anger will take you. If everything just goes to insulting one another, the fire of anger has destroyed the village. If you can control your anger, and use it to fuel your passion, then it's a whole other story.

Nice point, brah. Seems pretty well thought-out to me.
ReplyDeleteCourage without conscience, though, isn't it?
