There’s a bit of anger out there, but does it accomplish anything? Yes I’m speaking of the debate on Health Care. I’m not at all concerned about what you think about the issue—so don’t start
When people speak, they often don't consider the effect that their words have on other people. This is expecially the case when it involves topics that many people are passionate about. In this scenario, I am refering to the debate about health care. Almost everyone has an opinion about the matter, and it is a topic which appears with relative frequency in everyday conversation.
I know that even within our small Academy class, there are those who are willing to fight for their beliefs on issues. These arguements often start off with logical ideas, but in some cases, when all other resources are spent, the arguements can turn hateful, leading to irrelevent attacks on the moral values of the other parties involved. Unfortunately, this has become all too common in modern society, where debates become more about putting down others' ideas than about supporting your own with logic and consideration. This has led to a general downhill slope in the ability of Americans to look past their own views and consider others, due simply to the fact that they may feel that they are being attacked personally by other views.
