Assignment: Like it or not, The President wants you to do well in school.
Tuesday September 8th The President offered a Speech encouraging and challenging students to work hard in school (for text) (for video). Politics, policy, and even content aside-- talk about how the speech was crafted textually, aurally, and visually. I imagine you'll spend some time talking about his structure or word choice or his anecdotes or his tone of voice or his facial expressions or his use of humor or, or, or, or. This is wide open. All you need to do is reflect on HOW the speech and subsequent delivery were crafted.
