I'll be straightforward and say I don't really care about the whole Health Care issue because I don't to get involved in politics and internal American issues. I never have and I probably never will. Anger, on the other hand, is a topic I’m fully aware of.
Anger can be a destructive emotion. It hurts relationships, it stresses your brain, and it’s not a very effective way of getting your point across. When you get into a heated argument with yelling and harsh words, does anybody actually listen? Do you actually hear the words the other person is saying? Or do you tune them out, become blinded, and are convinced that your way is always right? Anger is an emotion that feels empowering. It’s an emotion that can also be used as a temporary terminator of an argument. But anger can be a good thing as well. Like others have said, anger can be channeled in sports as aggressiveness and in school as a motivator to do well.
I know when I get angry it's usually over something stupid. I can be self-conscious and with that easily offended. Little comments or subtle remarks can turn something innocent into a big argument. That happens quite a bit in my family, especially with a brother who can be completely oblivious to one’s emotions. He usually makes fun of me with how I look and how much I eat (yeah the mentioned topics are stupid but sometimes it just isn’t funny). Usually the jokes come on a daily basis. It's strained our relationship because I can't tell when he's being funny and when he's being serious anymore because the feeling of anger and hurt emerges. I don't know if this actually answered any of the questions in the prompt...
