Obama: This Guy Gets Me.

Obama's not just for political pundits anymore. In his speech about staying in school and other filth, Obama made numerous references to pop culture that made me feel like "woah...this guy understands." When he started talking about playing the xbox or using an iPhone, it really connected with the nation's youth. I distinctly remember that when threw out the word xbox, the little kid next to me in Pope's class yelled "He gets me!" Now here's a president who can relate to the struggles of doing well in school, even with difficulties like being really poor or having brain cancer. His anecdotes about kids with no parents and other crappy stuff like that going on in their lives, and yet still managed to get A's and B's and graduate with honors really got to me. He made a unique connection with America's students, and had a lot of inspiring messages to send. Good job Obama.
