What if we brought back the Mafia?

There are many real problems within society today. In schools and at home you can’t speak your mind without being reprimanded. If you get bullied at school and you report it to the authorities, the bullying only stops for a little time. There’s no one around that hangs out with you long enough and cares enough about you and your mental stability to check if you’re likely to commit suicide due to cyber stalking. You can’t watch your bro’s back in a fight without being accused of starting it. You can’t take your revenge on someone without being unjustly detained and criticized by society. Well, I have a modest proposal that would change all of that. We’ll start of small but I’m sure my system will one day spread across the whole United States. First we have to place the state of Kentucky under mafia rule. The government system will remain as it is except in each county, there will be a main mafia family. The rest of the world is open to creating mafia families if they want to deal with the main mafia families. If you want power over the county, you’ll have to fight the main mafia family for control. I think this system is particularly suitable for solving a lot of problems in society today because one of the main moral values accentuated in the mafia is trust and loyalty to every member in the mafia. One for all, all for one. If one man is insulted the whole family will back them. We don’t have that kind of oneness in our society today though we really need it. And when you have a place ruled by mafia there are bound to be fights. Now you’ll be able to speak your own mind wherever you go, at your own risk. People won’t be bullied as much because of the “all for one” rule. Your mafia family will be your non-blood family. Every member will be your closest friend. So, there is the support you need to maintain mental stability. Another upside to this whole system is the fighting. Fighting is a great aerobic exercise, so obesity rates in Kentucky should drop quite a bit after a few years. Sure there might be a few deaths but still, I envision a bright new future.

  3. No? No, I have no idea? Certainly nothing related to the Mafia? Or Reborn?

  4. i like your comment about obesity in kentucky! I'm tired of us being ranked 49th (only beating missississippi)in obesity rates. However, it would be even more beneficial to ban all firearms, so instead we can dig at each other with rusty picks and hand-sized pointy rocks
