Summer

These are songs that remind me of summer. I like to listen to these songs during the gross winter months to remind myself that summer is right around the corner. It's also a great playlist for lounging around on the beach.

1. Hey, Soul Sister -- Train
The airy, upbeat feel of this song just makes me relax and think about the warm summer sun. It always gets stuck in my head whenever I hear it.

2. When The Sun Goes Down -- Kenny Chesney
Every year I go to the beach I always listen to this song. Listening to this song makes me think of the beatiful sunsets on the beach and the sand between my toes; it's the perfect pick me up in the midst of a blah gray February day.

3. I'm Yours -- Jason Mraz
I really like this song. I love the catchy tune and the lyrics. It makes me think of an open field and a bright blue sky above and a warm breeze.

4. Are You Gonna Be My Girl -- JET
This song that always makes me wanna dance. To me, it embodies the feeling of summer.

5. Boondocks -- Little Big Town
When I hear this song it reminds me of times when I'd play outside all day in the summer with my neighbors; we'd play kick ball for hours, eat snow cones, and play tag until dark. It makes me think of those summer days when you didn't have to worry about your schedule or summer homework.

Most of these have a summer related memory attached and pretty much embody the feeling of summer.
