2010, A Year In Preview

My goals for 2010. I don't really have any concrete goals, I guess. I need to find a mentor for Seminar, definitely. I'm hoping to have a good time in CKYOJO, so I guess performing well could be a goal. (And on second thought, let's throw in improving my currently godawful trumpet range.) An abstract goal I have is to reconnect with people with whom I've fallen out of touch - some of them specific people, others people that would come to me if I took the time to think about it.
I want an A in APUSH this semester, which will be challenging seeing as I don't believe I've legitimately read a chapter in Bailey since about chapter 6. (For me, trying to read Bailey seems like trying to convince a wolverine to go vegan.) I aim to achieve a 5 on the AP Cal and AP English tests, with the first goal seeming a bit more in reach at the moment. Sorry, Mr. L, I'm still working to get there.

Espero poder hablar casi con fluidez en español - al momento, mi clase de Español para Hispanohablantes pasa bien, pero necesito más práctica con hablando.

One goal I definitely have is to be able to make up my mind. Er...actually, I'm not sure about that one.

I have a loose goal of wanting to make somebody's day, everyday - even if it's just something small to brighten someone's day. And why not go ahead and add procrastinating less to the list? Maybe being able to tolerate my siblings a little better, too. But that's not entirely feasible, if you ask me.

I guess I have a lot of goals in my head, as concepts, but not many in measurable, tangible forms. But whatever the case is, I think 2010 will certainly keep me busy. Bring it on.
