Goal

Sure, there are plenty of fun things that I would love to do in this New Year. However there is one goal that stands out in my mind as being absolutely necessary. I need to learn to focus, and to take my work more seriously. Ever since I was little, I was used to having everything be easy for me, and never actually having to try. Entering high school should have been a wakeup call for me but, as usual, I just pressed the snooze button and continued on my lazy way. In 2010 I am determined to wake up, and attempt to live up to the full potential that my parents believe I am capable of.

First off, I need to get off my lazy butt and get a job. That much my parents have made perfectly clear to me. In fact, they told me that if I don’t have a job, I can not even get my driver’s license, which is devastating to a car fanatic like myself. So as I welcomed the New Year in, I was busy searching for a job. Though I haven’t found one yet, I am convinced that it is only a matter of time, as long as I stick to my goal and keep working hard on finding myself a job.

Oh yeah, I should probably work a little harder on school work too. Procrastination can only get me so far.
