It's a new year, and some things are definitely changing. However, in 2010 my focus on schoolwork won't be on the list of changes. I'm going to strive to complete my Junior year with all A's and get at least fours on all my AP tests. It's not going to be easy, but I think I can handle it.
I also have to think about college. I'm going on some college visits over spring break and hopefully I'll be selected to attend the Governor's Scholars Program over the summer. My goal is to decide which career field I like the best, and from there I hope to find a few colleges that I'd be interested in attending.
Paintball is another area in which I'm making plans to progress. My old team has ceased to exist, but I'm still trying to get better at the game by getting out to practice whenever I have the opportunity. Being completely realistic, I don't think I have the time to dedicate to a team between schoolwork, clubs, and possibly a band.
As many of you know, I've been dealing with a lot in my personal life. I'm still not done with my grieving and I don't know when I will be. I'm happy that I can at least say I've made it far enough to see that there's light at the end of this tunnel. I know that I'll be happy again, so another one of my goals is to make it through this in it's entirety. I certainly hope this process doesn't take the whole year to see through, but I want to be completely happy with where I am in life.
