Now that I stop to think about it...

...this was actually our first homework in English so far. Uh...It looks like I'm the first poster. I hate being the first one!
Some of my goals...Some little voice in me is pushing for 4.0 GPA, probably for scholarships' sake. Another goal...Travelling the world is a goal of mine. Maybe more of a dream. "Goal" makes it sound more tangible, though, more achievable. Making a difference in some career. That's important to me. I don't know if it's likely, but I want to.
If I do anything differently this year, it sure won't be procrastinating less. Not because I don't procrastinate too much. No, it's more because I know that even though I could resolve until I'm blue in the face to stop procrastinating and I wouldn't stop. So that's out. I'll probably try to stress less over assignments and little things like that.
I don't know if I've done anything in a long time that "changed my life." Not many daily experiences tend to change lives - it's more the big events that you just don't get in a middle-class Lexingtonian neighborhood.
I'm not sure what else to say, so...I leave you with a picture and a hyperlink. Actually, two hyperlinks. I couldn't decide.

Picture of me taken in a state park in Colorado called "Garden of the Gods." Pretty landscape, yeah?

http://www.oddee.com/: This site is great. It's a little strange, but what it is is a compilation of all these "top 10 _____"-themed lists. For instance, "10 Hilarious Homeless Signs" or "10 Most Unusual Last Wishes and Testaments."
http://www.sporcle.com/: Surprisingly fun when you're bored. It's a bunch of stupid little quizzes about the most random things, ranging from the top-earning athletes of 2008 to four quizzes about advertising slogans. Give some of the quizzes a try.

  1. I'm in your comment box, postin' a comment. :P

I like your little insight on the definition of "goal". Definitely want to make a goal that actually seems possible, huh?

  2. @Kayla: Truth lies in that statement, without a doubt. (Awkward phrasing FTW.)

@Mr. Logsdon: Yeah, there are some things on there that kick my butt. It's a dangerously great time-waster, though.
