It was at a place call Four Seasons Christian Youth Camp, a one week church camp out in the middle of nowhere here in Kentucky. In one of the best weeks of my life, I felt at peace for the first time in a long time, coming away with a new outlook on life, new friends, a tan (though I suffered from a second-degree sunburn in the process), and about a hundred scratches on my arms from when I army-crawled down a hill in Capture the Flag. It was great.I'm usually an easy-going, outdoor kind of girl. I don't like stress or confrontation, so school can be a real hassle. I don't really enjoy being in a classroom for six hours. Nor is it easy being an athlete, an academic, a musician, and a girlfriend all at the same time. Heh as far as goals go, I just hope to survive the rest of high school and graduate intact. At the moment I'm learning how to be a leader by taking on the responsibility of team captain for the HC JV soccer team and I hope to be a good one. All A's and B's would be nice too. Laziness and an ineptitude for finding information on the internet seem to be the only things standing in my way of the previous goal.
