Mary Combs

During my free time, it always seems like I come up with thousands of goals for myself. The problem is that when someone directly asks me about them, they all seem to escape my mind. On that note, I shall use some very non interesting ones that everyone seems to use. School is my top priority this year so therefore, getting good grades is a big goal. I also want to get into a good college and then figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. Music (cello), astronomy, and art are all at the top of my list, but this has been known to change.

I am going to be quite honest, I struggled last year. I lost sight of where I was going while battling a four month illness, and the effect was dramatic. I barely kept my grades up and I was hardly practicing cello at all. Once I recovered and saw how bad of shape I had been in, I became determined to do better this year.

To be quite honest, I hardly did anything this summer. My family decided not to go on vacation, so most of the time I was stuck at home. The most eye opening thing that I did, was help my dad finish restoring my 1965 Mustang I got for my birthday the previous September. I spent time with my dad, while learning about what makes this car tick. The result was a beautiful Dynasty Green car named Sadie.

My favorite websites are www.facebook.com and www.youtube.com.
