To start off with, she's a tremendous singer. A few of you knew this already, but I'd bet the majority of you didn't. For example, Kayla sang Soprano 1 part in All-State Chorus just this past month. That's pretty impressive! Let's not all go ask her to perform for us now - really, that would just be awful - but if you get the chance, you ought to congratulate her!
She's also really a jack (jill?) of many trades, including most likely all of her classes except History. That's okay, though, because when it comes down to it, most of us hate History, or at least would consider it a weaker class. However, she's got many fortes like math and physics. And as probably more than a few of you know, she's a superb artist. (She provided a link to some of her art in her first blog post if you happen to be interested.)
Characterizing Kayla as a color is...tricky, I'd say. And no, it's not yellow! I know that's difficult to believe. But in my opinion, based on the way I see her and the way I see these colors, she's some kind of two-color pattern of black and green, each symbolizing different key aspects of her personality. The black - a suave, powerful, dignified color - symbolizes her maturity and reasonable, rational approach to things, while the green - a whimsical color, very happy - represents her fun-loving nature that complements her very mature side. She's funny and good-natured, while still maintaining a very logical, mature view of life that personally, I envy very much. She's unquestionably the person I'd have to choose as my best friend.
